Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Agricultural Machinery Service Engineer to join a team at their Exebridge depot. This role involves servicing, diagnostics, repair and maintenance of premium agricultural machinery, at the depot and on customer sites, with ongoing manufacturer training to develop your technical expertise and achieve certified technician status.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in agricultural machinery.
Relevant technical qualification.
Experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing machinery.
Strong IT skills with diagnostic equipment.
Full driving licence.
Experience with John Deere machinery advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repairs on agricultural machinery, both in-house and on customer sites.
Complete pre-delivery inspections and set-up of new and used machinery.
Diagnose faults using specialist diagnostic equipment and modern technology.
Complete job cards, timesheets, DTAC and other relevant service documentation.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Follow all company health & safety procedures.
Attend manufacturer training and work towards certified technician status.
Support and mentor apprentices within the workshop.
Keep up to date with the latest agricultural machinery technology and systems.
Work overtime when required to meet customer and business needs.
