G’s Group is recruiting an Agricultural Service Engineer to maintain, service, diagnose and repair agricultural machinery and equipment from our workshop near Ely, Cambs. The role covers planned maintenance, fault finding and emergency breakdowns to keep machinery reliable and safe.

You will diagnose issues using manufacturer software, work in the workshop and on-site, and contribute to continuous improvements while following health & safety regulations. A full driving licence is essential.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Agricultural Service Engineer to join our workshop near Ely, Cambs to maintain, service, diagnose, and repair agricultural machinery and equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency, safety, and reliability. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), routine servicing, fault finding, and emergency breakdown repairs on a wide range of agricultural machinery, plant, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining of our large array of Agricultural machinery
• Accurately diagnose and repair machinery faults to ensure optimal performance and safety, in compliance with manufacturer specifications
• Servicing and repairing Agricultural machinery both in the workshop and in the field.
• Diagnose problems accurately and repair faults.
• Assembly and PDI of new machinery.
• Problem solving using manufacturer\'s computer software and manuals.
• Always observing Health & Safety regulations.

The Ideal Candidate We Are Looking For

• Mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
• Experience with agricultural machinery would be desirable
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking
• Ability to work both as part of a team, and on your own.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak farming periods
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to develop new skills.
• Full driving licence.
