Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Chelmsford is seeking an Agricultural Engineer to join a well-established agricultural machinery business. You will diagnose faults, service and repair equipment, and work with modern diagnostics to keep machinery running smoothly.

The role offers a structured Monday–Friday week with early finish on Fridays, enhanced overtime, generous leave and strong pension. You will liaise with customers and suppliers, handle heavy machinery safely and maintain high

Qualifications

• Experience with agricultural machinery or mechanical engineering environment.
• Strong maintenance, diagnostics and repair knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Self-motivated, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good physical fitness and hands-on ability.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic systems and software
• Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery and equipment
• Complete warranty, chargeable and internal repair work
• Safely handle heavy machinery and use specialist tools
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
• Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales
