Job summary

Interaction Technical seeks an Agricultural Engineer to diagnose faults and service agricultural machinery. Responsibilities include travelling to customer sites to maintain and repair equipment, plus diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on site. You will work independently on client sites and document the solutions provided.

Ideal applicants will have hydraulics experience, and industry experience is advantageous; a full UK driving licence is required.

• Experience within the Agricultural sector is advantageous.

The client

Interaction Technical is partnering with a well-established and highly respected supplier of agricultural, ground care, and garden machinery. Due to continued business growth, they are currently looking to onboard an agricultural engineer to join their team.

The package

The Duties

• Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, Bailers etc).
• Travel to customer sites to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest quality.
• Carry out diagnostics to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery.
• The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered.
• Working on engines, batteries and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Liaising with clients to diagnose faults and find solutions for them.

The Requirements

• Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
• Previous experience working within the Agricultural industry experience (advantageous)
• Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
• Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
• Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Drivers License
