Job summary

Minerva is seeking an Agile Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of projects and enhancements, ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed. The role drives delivery plans, RAID logs, status reporting, and cross-group coordination with HMRC and DPS.

You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage team workloads in Jira, and ensure governance through release management and RFC activities, while supporting transitions to live service environments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end projects and product enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, ceremonies and governance.
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies and RAID logs across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure release management and RFC processes are followed; drive continuous improvement with SDMs and delivery teams.

Agile Scrum Master / Delivery Lead (Minerva) Orange 1

Rate: £450- £500

Clearance Required: BPSS

Duration: 6 months

Location: Telford - 2 days onsite per week

Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and product enhancements, ensuring milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables are effectively managed throughout the delivery lifecycle. The role involves maintaining delivery plans, managing RAID logs, providing regular status reporting, and driving successful outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups. The successful candidate will facilitate Agile delivery practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives, ensuring teams remain focused on priorities and delivery commitments. They will manage team workloads and progress through Jira, monitor delivery performance, and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across HMRC and HMRC Digital Platform Services (DPS), the role requires strong communication and relationship management skills to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective decision-making. The individual will also ensure compliance with delivery governance processes, including release management and RFC activities, while driving continuous improvement initiatives alongside Service Delivery Managers and wider delivery teams. The role will support services through Live Service Acceptance and transition into operational support, ensuring solutions are delivered, deployed, and embedded successfully into live service environments.
