Job summary

Parallel Consulting is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead the Intelligence Programme. You will drive data, analytics and operational intelligence initiatives across regulatory reporting, business insight and Water Data Products.

In Exeter, you will manage sprint execution, coordinate Data Engineers, Solution Architects and BI specialists, and establish robust governance and performance reporting. A hands-on, momentum-building leader is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Agile delivery in data/analytics projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery, managing sprint execution, priorities, dependencies, risks, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across data, architecture, BI, and testing.
• Drive ODI Reporting Automation and related data product workstreams.
• Establish governance, RAID, sprint ceremonies, stakeholder communications, and reporting.
• Partner with business, Data Services, and tech teams to remove impediments and meet delivery goals.
• Support mobilisation, growth, and maturity of the Intelligence delivery team.

Agile Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to support the Intelligence Programme, leading the successful delivery of data, analytics, and operational intelligence initiatives across regulatory reporting, business insight, and Water Data Products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery, managing sprint execution, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery roadmaps.


• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Water SMEs, reporting specialists, and test teams.


• Drive the delivery of ODI Reporting Automation initiatives alongside subsequent Data Product and Operational Intelligence workstreams.


• Establish robust governance processes, RAID management, sprint ceremonies, stakeholder communications, and performance reporting.


• Partner closely with business stakeholders, Data Services, and technology teams to remove impediments and ensure delivery objectives are achieved.


• Support the mobilisation, growth, and ongoing maturity of the Intelligence delivery team.

Experience Required

• Strong experience in Agile Delivery Management, Project Management, or Programme Delivery within complex data, analytics, technology, or digital transformation environments.


• Proven track record leading Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Business Intelligence delivery teams.


• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to align technical and business functions around shared outcomes.


• Experience within utilities, water, or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous.


• Delivery-focused professional with a hands‑on approach and the ability to quickly establish momentum within existing programmes.


• Strong understanding of Agile ways of working, sprint planning, dependency management, and cross-functional team coordination.
