Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking an Agile PMO Analyst to join a fast-moving delivery team in a hybrid role. You will design automated PMO tools, build advanced Excel models, and automate reporting to improve delivery governance.

You'll collaborate with delivery teams to streamline planning, RAID management and demand tracking, turning manual processes into scalable, self-sustaining solutions. Public sector delivery experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience creating automated PMO tools and dashboards.
• Strong Excel modelling and data analysis abilities.
• Experience with governance, RAID management and planning processes.
• Desirable: Power BI visualisation and SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated PMO tools to improve reporting and delivery governance.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Agile PMO Analyst to join a high-performing delivery team. This is not a traditional PMO role focused solely on governance and reporting. Instead, we're looking for someone who enjoys building intelligent tools and automating processes to improve delivery efficiency. If you see a manual spreadsheet and immediately think about how to automate it, streamline it, or make it self-sustaining, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated PMO tools to improve reporting and delivery governance.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel models for planning, forecasting and resource management.
• Automate reporting, trackers and planning processes using VBA and macros.
• Support programme planning, RAID management, governance, resource planning and demand tracking.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve existing PMO processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including:
• Complex formulas

• SolidPMO experience, including:
• Programme planning
• RAID management
• Governance
• Resource and demand management
• Forecasting
• Experience creating tools that reduce manual effort and improve delivery efficiency.
