Job summary

mthree is seeking an Agile Business Analyst in Payments Services IT based in Sheffield, UK. The role requires 4–5 years of IT experience with strong payments domain knowledge, plus exposure to XML/SWIFT and JIRA/Visio tools.

The analyst will support corporate internet banking/project work, contribute to payment systems understanding, and assist in Agile delivery with story slicing and estimation.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years IT experience with business & systems analysis and functional testing.
• Extensive Payments domain experience mandatory.
• ISO 20022 experience is an advantage.
• BA/Consulting experience in Corporate Internet Banking, Payments or Corporate Channels preferred.
• Good understanding of Banking Payment Systems & Banking domain.
• Knowledge of SEPA, NACHA and RTP preferred.
• Experience with XML, SWIFT and other industry formats preferred.
• Experience with low-value, file-based payment processing systems.
• Prior experience in Agile methodology.
• Understanding of story slicing and estimation of story points.
• JIRA and Visio experience is mandatory.
• Awareness of Connect, FTPS and SFTP desirable.
• Experience with BDD preferred.
