We are hiring: Agile Delivery Lead (ADL)

Join our IT Services team to deliver and maintain critical infrastructure services for the global Hiscox business. As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will coordinate the day-to-day activities of our squads within the IT Services value streams. This hybrid role involves coaching squads on Agile practices and managing delivery for initiatives or work packages.

This position suits experienced Delivery Leads or Project Managers familiar with agile environments, as well as candidates from an Infrastructure Engineering background looking to transition into delivery roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of initiatives/projects, including financial management and resource balancing. Hands-on experience with infrastructure or technical projects is essential.
• Guide and support squads in applying Agile principles to deliver value.
• Utilize JIRA to facilitate change delivery, backlog management, and prioritization.
• Assist squads in meeting commitments, removing impediments, escalating issues, and ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
• Provide governance across initiatives/projects.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT or Infrastructure functions.
• Experience with infrastructure systems to understand initiatives effectively.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Background in engineering or project management/delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in platform services, platform engineering, cloud, or infrastructure teams is beneficial.
