Job summary

TXP Technology x People in Birmingham seeks an experienced Agile Delivery Lead for a 3-month contract to guide cross-functional technology teams and translate priorities into outcomes aligned with scope and client commitments.

You will run planning, stand-ups, reviews and backlogs, manage risks and dependencies, and report progress, blockers and forecast confidence while fostering collaboration and accountability across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Agile software delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and hybrid methods.
• Strong facilitation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Solid client and stakeholder management with proficiency in Jira or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Track delivery in Jira or Azure DevOps, identify slippage and coordinate recovery.
• Maintain plans, milestones, RAID governance and forecast reporting.

• Manage stakeholders and delivery conversations, escalating risks with options.
• Deliver within the Statement of Work, budget and scope; flag changes early.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to guide cross-functional technology teams, establish effective delivery rhythms and turn changing priorities into outcomes aligned to scope and client commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement, translating priorities into sprint goals and clear ownership.
• Track delivery through Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling; identify slippage early, coordinate dependencies and lead recovery action.
• Maintain plans, milestones, critical-path activity and RAID governance, reporting clearly on progress, blockers and forecast confidence.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and self-management.
• Manage stakeholders, expectations and difficult delivery conversations, escalating risks with practical options.
• Deliver within the Statement of Work, budget and scope; identify change early and consider cost, margin and client value.

Essential Skill & Experience:

• Strong experience leading Agile software or technology delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban and hybrid methods, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Proven risk, issue, dependency and change management, supported by excellent facilitation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong client and stakeholder management, confidence with Jira or Azure DevOps, and commercial awareness of scope, budget and change control.
