Job summary

booking.com is seeking a skilled professional to guide product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software while embedding agile values. You will coach cross-functional teams, foster a culture of psychological safety, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

You will partner with leadership to shape effective delivery and adopt data-informed change, building communities of practice that sustain innovation across large-scale programs.

Qualifications

• Broad job knowledge (3-5 years).
• Solid understanding of agile principles.
• Experience with multiple agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
• Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle including continuous delivery and walking skeletons.
• Background in Engineering or Product roles.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams with product and engineering to improve delivery effectiveness and resolve impediments.
• Foster behavioral change toward continuous improvement, sustainable delivery, and experimentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and translate insights into action with clear communication.
• Promote psychological safety and apply root cause analysis for sustainable solutions.
• Identify stakeholders, build buy-in, and design change management strategies.
• Negotiate to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and provide coaching and mentoring across levels to enhance performance.
