Job summary

RedRock Resourcing in Bristol is partnering with a software organisation undergoing a major agile transformation and is seeking an Agile Coach to shape delivery practices and champion Azure DevOps as the core platform.

You will embed Azure DevOps standards across active projects, coach cross-functional teams, measure progress with agile metrics, drive continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching multiple Agile delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies and Agile frameworks.
• Experience with Agile metrics and delivery reporting.
• Ability to drive adoption in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

• Embed Azure DevOps standards across active projects with boards, hierarchies, sprints and dashboards.
• Coach teams on agile best practices, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Measure agile maturity by velocity, throughput and adoption metrics to drive improvement.
• Support organisational change through mentoring and stakeholder engagement.

We're working with an innovative software organisation that is investing heavily in its transformation journey and is looking for an Agile Coach to play a key role in shaping the future of project delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence how agile is adopted across the business, helping teams become more collaborative, data-driven and effective while championing Azure DevOps as the core delivery platform.

What You'll Be Doing

As Agile Coach, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Technical Leads, Delivery Teams and senior stakeholders to improve delivery capability across the organisation.

You'll be responsible for:

• Embedding Azure DevOps standards across active projects, ensuring consistency in boards, work item hierarchy, sprint management, reporting and dashboards.
• Coaching teams on Agile best practice, facilitating effective sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement and showcase sessions.
• Measuring agile maturity by tracking sprint velocity, throughput, delivery metrics and Azure DevOps adoption, using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Supporting organisational change through coaching, mentoring and stakeholder engagement to embed sustainable agile ways of working.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Agile Coach with a practical, hands‑on approach who enjoys working with people just as much as improving processes.

You'll bring experience of:

• Coaching multiple Agile delivery teams
• Scrum ceremonies and Agile frameworks
• Agile metrics and delivery reporting
• Working within hybrid Agile / Waterfall environments
• Driving organisational change and adoption
• Building strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders

You’ll be someone who can challenge constructively, coach confidently and help teams improve without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
