Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a graduate engineer for the Wing Structures/Systems Installation track. You will embark on a two-year development journey, combining core technical training with hands-on rotations to build leadership and engineering excellence.

Participation includes exposure to design, stress analysis, and digitalization, with support to gain a professional foothold in aerospace engineering and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

What you will be doing

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of Wing Structures / Systems Installation Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Static Stress analysis, from first principles to FEM based analysis
  • Design - CATIA tools, configuration management and DMU in Wing Structures and/or Systems installation
  • Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis
  • Digitalization - automating processes using coding skills

Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.

At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Wing Structures / Systems Installation Engineer

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have:

  • A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
    • Degree type: Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or higher)
  • Recently graduated or first professional experience in a relevant field
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development
  • Good knowledge of coding and data analysis techniques (desirable but not essential)
  • Natural curiosity and excitement to explore
  • Excitement to work in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Passion about Aerospace and the challenges of the civil aircraft market
  • Sensitivity to clients needs and ability to develop good client relationships
