Job summary

TechByte Talent Ltd is seeking a seasoned software/AI engineer to own production-grade agentic AI systems in a fast-moving environment. You will design, implement, and operate end-to-end tool-driven agents across Azure OpenAI, open models, and provider SDKs.

You’ll lead the integration of LLMs and agent frameworks, build robust memory and context pipelines, and ensure safety, observability, and cost efficiency in production deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping production AI systems beyond prototypes.
• Hands-on work with LLM prompts, context engineering, and structured outputs.
• Strong Python skills with async programming and API design.
• Experience with vector stores and retrieval systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate production agentic AI systems with robust tool-use and multi-step reasoning.
• Select and integrate LLMs and agent frameworks balancing latency, cost, quality and compliance.
• Engineer reliable tool-use patterns: function calling, structured outputs, retries, audit trails.
• Build retrieval and context-engineering pipelines: RAG, hybrid search, memory budgeting.
• Own agent evaluation and safety: red-teaming, prompt-injection defences, and data controls.
• Optimize for cost and performance: prompt caching, token budgeting, model routing, batching.
• Deploy agents as reliable services with CI/CD, canary releases, and failover.
