Job summary

Kyndryl seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer (Band 8) focusing on AI & Agentic Engineering to deliver AI applications for complex customer engagements. You translate business challenges into technical solutions, build AI services, and partner with platform engineers through design, build and deployment.

You will own production-grade Python services (FastAPI), work with Postgres/Neo4j, and shape AI governance, observability, and deployment practices while guiding customers on modern AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software engineering experience with AI/ML integration.
• Strong Python (FastAPI) with SDLC practices: design, tests, CI/CD.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and RAG/LLM pipelines.
• Experience with Postgres/Neo4j and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into agentic AI applications and gen AI use cases.
• Build AI applications: agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and API integrations.
• Develop production-grade Python services (FastAPI) with proper testing and CI/CD.
• Model and serve data with Postgres/Neo4j in AI apps.
• Collaborate with platform engineering on deployment and MLOps/LLMOps.
