Job summary

Verizon is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design and implement autonomous, multi-agent workflows that interface with enterprise databases, external APIs, and long-term memory systems. You will build robust agent orchestration with governance guardrails and reliable state management.

You will work across teams on NLP, AI integration, and search relevance, delivering scalable, secure AI solutions that enhance user interactions and drive measurable improvements in performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• Experience building Multi-Agent Systems with complex delegation models.
• Hands-on enterprise-grade agentic workflows and task orchestration.
• LSMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement autonomous, multi-agent workflows.
• Interface LLMs with REST APIs, databases and MCP-like protocols.
• Design memory architectures and state management across workflows.
• Establish offline tests and real-time observability to prevent drift.
• Containerize and deploy microservices with scalable patterns.
