Job summary

Willing Recruitment is seeking qualified Nursery Practitioners for flexible, temporary roles across Guildford and surrounding areas. Work ranges from occasional cover shifts to longer block bookings, designed to fit around your schedule.

You will support learning under the EYFS, build strong relationships with children and parents, and adapt to different nursery environments. A Level 2/3 or BA in childcare or QTS is preferred, and a driving licence is helpful for travel.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification (Level 2, Level 3 or above, BA, or QTS).
• Previous nursery/early years setting experience.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple nurseries and client sites.
• Proactive, reliable attitude with genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to travel between locations (driving licence helpful but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Build warm, positive relationships with children, parents, and nursery teams.
• Adapt quickly to different nursery environments and follow daily routines.
• Create safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning spaces for children aged 0-5 years.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality policies.

What We're Looking For
