Zusammenfassung

The Pioneer Academy Trust is seeking a term-time playworker for the after-school club at South Norwood Primary School in London. The role focuses on supervising and engaging pupils, supporting snack duties and tidying up, with hours 15:00–18:00 on weekdays across 39 weeks a year.

You will work under the guidance of the After-School Club Leader and Head Teacher, fostering a caring environment and positive interactions with pupils. DBS checks and safeguarding commitments are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Further vetting checks in line with Keeping children safe in education 2026.
• Certificate of Good Conduct or overseas police check if applicant has lived or worked outside the UK.

Jobbeschreibung

This is a term-time playworker post in the afterschool club at South Norwood Primary School, part of The Pioneer Academy Trust. The work centres on supervising and engaging pupils in play, looking after a designated group of children and helping with snacks and tidy-up. Hours are weekday afternoons only, from 15:00 to 18:00, across 39 weeks of the year. Visa sponsorship is not available, and appointment depends on an enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks.
