Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ3 (or equivalent) in Childcare.
• Experience of working with children.
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements.
• Experience of managing a budget.
• Ability to lead a team of adults.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil practices from the Discovery Wrap Around Care Framework.
• Prepare, maintain and monitor a safe and secure environment for children.
• Maintain duty of care for all children attending the WAC provision.
• Liaise with parents and carers to support welfare and development.
• Develop inclusion by facilitating participation and building confidence.
