Job summary

Springwood Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic individual to lead our Breakfast Club and After School Club for pupils from FS1 to Y6, delivering engaging activities before and after the school day. You will work with a team, uphold safeguarding, maintain welfare, and build positive relationships with children and families, with training provided for first aid and food hygiene.

There is flexibility to support either session, with potential job-sharing arrangements for the right candidate,

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or club setting.
• Ability to plan and lead engaging activities for diverse age groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the Breakfast Club and After School Club activities to be engaging and well set up each day.
• Supervise pupils and uphold high behaviour standards as per school policy.
• Meet individual needs and promote inclusion while ensuring safety.
• Follow all policies and procedures and maintain a welcoming premises.
• Lead staff colleagues and provide clear direction.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/carers.
