Job summary

Education Authority is seeking a part-time School Cleaner at Abbots Cross Primary School in Antrim-Newtownabbey. The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2:30pm–5:30pm, providing cleaners’ support across school premises.

You will join a team, perform routine cleaning tasks and ensure safety compliance under the line manager's guidance. Applicants should have at least three months' cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning methods and COSHH, and demonstrate good communication, teamwork

Qualifications

• Minimum three months' demonstrable cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, clean toilets and surfaces as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors and furnishings up to 3.35m.
• Follow health and safety policies and wear PPE.
