Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver in Southport to join a fixed-term contract for 6 months. You will work 30 hours across five days, with shifts between 14:40 and 20:30, including Saturdays and Sundays per local rota.

You’ll prep the van, use route-planning tools and deliver parcels while providing excellent customer service. Applicants should have a full UK manual driving licence (max six penalty points) and be ready to work afternoons/evenings with a friendly, professional

Qualifications

Upbeat, self-motivated and thrive whilst working independently.
Organised, punctual with great initiative.
Committed to the delivery of great customer service.
Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
Enjoy a multi-drop driving role delivering parcels across the week.
Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

Prepping your van and workload for the day and using route-planning tools to ensure on-time deliveries.
Delivering parcels and ensuring items reach the right place for customers.
Delivering for the people and acting as a positive Royal Mail ambassador.
