Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver in Plymouth for a fixed term of 9 months. The role is 30 hours per week, with shifts typically between 14:00 and 20:00, across five days out of seven. Saturday and Sunday work is required per local rota to meet operational demand.

You will prep your van, use route-planning tools and deliver parcels to customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail. A full UK manual licence with up to 6 penalty points is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work independently and follow a local rota.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays as required by rota.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels across the assigned area on a multi-drop route.
• Pre‑prep the van and workload for the day using route-planning tools.
• Ensure parcels are delivered to the right place at the right time.
• Represent Royal Mail Group with a positive, professional image.
