Job summary

Fresh Direct is seeking a Warehouse Operative at the Wigan depot. You will pick, pack and check ambient, chilled and frozen items for delivery, with a full induction and optional accredited training including forklift and first aid.

The role requires comfort working in a cool environment, ability to lift up to 25 kg, and ideally your own transport. In addition to a competitive salary, 31 days leave and a company pension are on offer.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in a cold environment with required PPE.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Own transport preferred to reach the depot.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and check ambient, chilled and frozen items.
• Prepare orders for drivers and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain quality checks and product integrity during handling.
• Support induction and training for new starters.
