Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver for Winchester Delivery Office on a fixed-term 6-month contract. You will work 30 hours per week, mainly afternoons, with weekend shifts as part of a local rota, using route-planning tools to deliver parcels reliably.

You will prep the van, load parcels, and serve customers with a positive attitude, representing Royal Mail professionally in the community.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, self-motivated and thrive whilst working independently.
• Organised, punctual with great initiative.
• Committed to the delivery of great customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
• Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
• Enjoy a multi-drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area.
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels on your route and handle election materials where applicable.
• Prepare the van and workload for the day using route-planning tools.
• Ensure parcels are delivered to the right place at the right time, across the assigned area.
