Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver at Rugby Delivery Office. This 30-hour-per-week role runs across five days with two rest days, shifts 14:00–20:00, including Saturdays and Sundays as per rota.

You will prep your van, use route-planning tools, and deliver parcels to customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail. We offer £13.68 per hour, 22.5 days holiday, a full uniform, a company pension, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Upbeat, self-motivated and thrive whilst working independently.
• Organised, punctual with great initiative.
• Committed to the delivery of great customer service.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
• Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
• Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
