Pertemps Bond is seeking a General Operative / Machine Operator for an afternoon shift in Kingswinford. The role involves operating machinery, material handling, and quality checks to support production targets while upholding health and safety standards.

You will work on a busy production line on afternoons (2:00pm–10:00pm), with pay of £13.18 per hour. This permanent placement offers long-term career prospects and immediate starts for experienced operatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up and monitor machinery during production.
• Load raw materials into equipment.
• Monitor output and ensure specification compliance.
• Perform regular quality inspections for defects.
• Measure finished products for accuracy.
• Complete general assembly and production tasks.
• Follow production instructions and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Report faults or defects to the supervisor.
• Work as part of a team and independently as needed.
• Follow PPE and manual handling requirements.
• Carry out other duties as required.
