Job summary

Quest Employment are recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver for an ongoing temporary to permanent role in Wellingborough (NN8). You will load/unload trailers, maximise space, and complete digital documentation while supporting picking and packing duties.

The position requires a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, experience operating the FLT, and a strong focus on safety and accuracy. Pay is £13.50 per hour, with an afternoon shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

Valid in-date Counterbalance FLT licence is required.
Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT is essential.
Strong spatial awareness and trailer-loading skills are needed.
Understanding of load planning and weight distribution is expected.
Ability to handle oversized palletised freight with care.
Experience using tablets and handheld scanners.
Ability to follow digital documentation and photo-evidence procedures.
Commitment to safety, compliance and quality.
Ability to stay calm and organised with tight trailer turnaround times.

Responsibilities

Safely load customer collection vehicles and maximise trailer space.
Safely unload deliveries and document processes.
Scan orders with tablets/handheld scanners and photograph loads.
Identify and report damaged or non-compliant loads.
Assist with manual duties including picking and packing as part of warehouse operations.
