Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an After School Play Worker to support a one form entry primary school near Tarporley, Cheshire. The role runs 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, assisting with after-school activities and safeguarding. Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and DBS, or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities include planning activities, managing behaviour, and providing food and drink to pupils aged 3–11. Right to work documentation required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• DBS enhanced disclosure or willingness to process one.
• Experience with children aged 3–11 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with after-school activities and supervision.
• Help plan and deliver engaging activities for pupils.
• Support safeguarding and ensure safe food and drink provision.
• Assist with behaviour management and monitoring of pupils during club hours.
