Job summary

Belvedere Junior School is seeking an After School Club Playworker to support the Extended School provisions. The role runs term time, 38 weeks per year, at 15:00–18:00, with two days weekly and six hours in total.

You will work under the guidance of the After School Club Leader and Head Teacher to supervise and assist in providing a safe, engaging and caring environment for pupils after the school day ends.

Qualifications

• Term time only role.
• 6 hours per week, 2 days per week 15:00–18:00.
• Working under guidance of After School Club Leader and Head Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Provide child care for pupils attending the After School Club.
• Provide encouragement, friendship and supervision to children.
• Assist in offering a wide range of play activities in a relaxed, informed and caring environment.
• Establish positive relationships with children and be an exemplary role model.
