Daven Primary School is seeking an After School Club Practitioner to lead after-school activities and provide a safe, engaging environment for children. You will supervise play, run creative activities, and serve healthy snacks, with a focus on inclusivity and well-being.
Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification. The role is 15 hours per week, term time only, 3:00pm–6:00pm, with salary scales and progression outlined in the advert.

As an After School Club Practitioner,you will play a key role in creating a vibrant, playful and safe environmentfor the children. You will lead outdoorand indoor play, creative activities and serve nutritious snacks, ensuringevery child feels included and valued.
Ideally, the successfulcandidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification. The candidate needs tohave the relevant experience, and it would be desirable but not essential tohold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or higher.
Salary Grade 4 - candidate holds a Level 3 Early Yearsqualification and can support Nursery wraparound provision.
FTE £25,584 to £25,990pro-rata per annum with working hours
(actual salary from £8,949to £9,091)
Salary Grade 3 - candidate does not holda Level 3 Early Years qualification and will support the After School Clubonly.
FTE £24,796 to £25,186pro-rata per annum with working hours
(actual salary from £8,673to £8,810)
Working hours will be 15hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time only, Monday to Friday 3:00pm -6:00pm.
