Shiney Row Primary School in Sunderland is seeking an enthusiastic After School Club Leader to manage the indoor provision after the school day ends. The role focuses on safety, engagement, and a variety of activities, with a warm, inclusive atmosphere for children.

The successful candidate will plan, supervise snacks, maintain records and work with the school sports coach to provide a positive experience for all children during term-time only hours.

Qualificações

• Experience of working with primary-aged children
• Enthusiastic, creative and confident in organising indoor activities
• Able to manage day-to-day provision effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Understands safeguarding, inclusion and positive behaviour
• Holds or is willing to undertake safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene training

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the daily running of the indoor after-school club in a safe, welcoming environment
• Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities for different ages
• Prepare light, healthy snacks and accommodate dietary needs
• Create a stimulating environment where children can relax, play and socialise
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers
• Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed
• Maintain accurate attendance records and safe handover to guardians
• Organise resources and coordinate with staff to run the provision smoothly
