Job summary

Riverbridge Primary School is seeking an After School Club Assistant to join our popular wraparound care team. The role is term-time, Monday to Thursday 2.30pm–6.15pm, supporting children with engaging activities in a safe environment.

You will work with a dedicated team, provide afternoon snack, assist with setting up activities, and help with first aid as needed. A background in childcare and good communication are valued; GCSEs in maths and English and NVQ2/3 are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• GCSEs in Maths and English desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a stimulating, caring environment in the after school club.
• Provide full care for children, including an afternoon snack.
• Ensure a safe environment with high hygiene standards.
• Administer first aid as appropriate.
• Support the aims and ethos of the school and wraparound care.
