Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking an energetic After School Club Activity Leader for Deptford, London. You will run breakfast and after school clubs for children aged 4–11, delivering engaging activities and supervising groups.

This split-shift role runs mornings and afternoons with a mid-day break, supports safety and inclusion, and offers opportunities to develop skills through training, DBS checks, and a supportive team.

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11.
This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What you'll do day-to-day:

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm, perfect for work-life balance or those seeking part-time fun!
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who loves working with children and brings a positive, can-do attitude

• A team player who’s also confident running activities and managing a group
