Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in London is seeking an experienced Director to lead Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Operations Transformation Execution. You will translate strategic objectives into measurable operational outcomes, govern the transformation portfolio, and ensure delivery of initiatives across AFC Operations.

Collaborate with Compliance, Technology and COO to align capabilities, drive automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading transformation, strategic execution or operational improvement programmes within complex, global financial-services organisations.
• Strong programme leadership skills, with experience managing portfolios, multiple workstreams, dependencies, priorities and delivery risk.
• Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into executable plans, measurable outcomes and sustainable benefit realisation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability, supported by effective performance monitoring and management information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and instil accountability without direct authority.
• Knowledge of Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk or Operations environments, with experience of operating-model, workforce or location transformation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of AFC Operations strategic priorities and the transformation portfolio ensuring initiatives deliver agreed measurable business outcomes and benefits.
• Govern initiative prioritization, delivery progress, dependencies, risks and benefit realization, ensuring measurable operational and risk outcomes.
• Establish a structured capability review framework covering production performance, service quality, capacity, productivity and control effectiveness.
• Foster consistent execution, simplification, standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across AFC Operations, overcoming barriers and organisational inefficiencies.
• Provide the Head of AFC Operations with transparent executive reporting, performance dashboards and insight-focused recommendations on delivery and strategic risk.
• Collaborate and coordinate across AFC Operations, Compliance, Technology, AFC Chief Operating Office (COO) and Infrastructure functions, strengthening accountability and alignment among capability leads and senior stakeholders.
