Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in London is seeking a Vice President to strengthen the AFC Operations Control Governance & Conformance framework. You will drive governance, conformance, and audit readiness across worldwide AFC Operations, delivering independent challenge and assurance.

In this role, you will collaborate with capability leads, manage risk indicators, and support remediation delivery while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and risk-aware decision making.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Risk, Controls, Governance, Audit or Financial Crime within financial services.
• Proven ability to oversee operational control frameworks and conformance activities.
• Experience coordinating audit, regulatory reviews and remediation in a highly regulated setting.
• Ability to challenge independently, identify control weaknesses and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Control Governance & Conformance capability in defining and embedding the AFC Operations control strategy.
• Coordinate conformance reviews, audits and regulatory activities with oversight across AFC Operations.
• Provide independent challenge on control design, risks, issues and remediation priorities.
• Establish management information and metrics to reveal control health and remediation progress.
• Facilitate governance forums covering audits, commitments and evidence of closure.
• Partner with capability leads to strengthen control execution and continuous improvement.
