Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Driver / Forklift Operator for a busy aerospace and defence operation based in Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. You will safely operate company vehicles including 3.5T vans and forklifts and support warehouse, logistics and transportation activities.

The role includes a 4-month contract with rotating day/night shifts, averaging 40.5 hours per week, and a 16.88% uplift for night shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Forklift experience and certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, materials support or supply chain experience.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including 3.5T vans and forklifts
• Transport materials to designated locations on and off site
• Load, unload and handle materials in accordance with logistics and airworthiness requirements
• Support warehouse operations, including goods in/goods out activities
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure paperwork is accurately processed
• Assist with inventory and material handling tasks
• Comply with all company quality, safety and security procedures
• Ensure excellent housekeeping standards within the warehouse
• Remain vigilant regarding FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control
• Support managers and team leaders with ad hoc operational requirements
