Job summary

Leonardo offers an Aerospace Transmissions Fitter Apprenticeship (Level 3) at Yeovil. You will train to become a Mechanical Fitter focusing on transmissions, gaining hands-on experience across build, repair and test activities in our Transmissions Centre of Excellence.

You will split time between Yeovil College and Leonardo facilities, progressing through placements and an End Point Assessment, with salary increases as you advance through the programme.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at a minimum grade C/4 including Maths, English and Science.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and contribute to practical engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build, repair and test aircraft transmission gearboxes and related assemblies.
• Rotate through Transmissions Centre of Excellence departments to gain hands-on experience.
• Complete End Point Assessment as defined and progress through the programme.
