Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an experienced TIG Welder for a well-established aerospace manufacturer near Redditch. The role involves producing high-quality tube assemblies and components in a precision-driven environment, with opportunities for overtime and a temp-to-perm progression.

You will weld manually and orbital TIG, read engineering drawings, set up and program welding equipment, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Previous TIG welder experience, preferably in aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing.
• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Experience welding stainless steel, titanium, aluminium or Inconel.
• Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding of tube assemblies, brackets and components.
• Work from engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.
• Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.
• Inspect finished components using equipment including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.
• Ensure all work meets the required quality and aerospace manufacturing standards.
