Job summary

Safran in Wolverhampton is seeking an Engineering Development Assistant to support the Development Engineering team. You will help test motor position sensors and prepare data, working alongside engineers to gather findings and contribute to TRL4/TRL5 reviews.

Qualifications

• Interest in engineering, electronics or component testing.

Responsibilities

• Support motor position sensor test programme, including testing MAQ and Allegro chips.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining test rigs and equipment.
• Carry out testing in accordance with specifications and record results.
• Collate test data for review with the engineering team and highlight findings.
• Support hardware and software setup for temperature testing.
• Report findings to experts and participate in daily review meetings.
• Assist with preparing documentation and data packs for TRL4/TRL5 reviews.
