Safran in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager (Technical) to lead complex aerospace engineering development programmes from concept through to entry into service. You will work closely with the Project Chief Engineer, Programme Manager and global stakeholders to ensure delivery against cost, quality, schedule and customer commitments.

This role requires a degree in Engineering or related discipline, experience managing regulated programmes, and a proven ability to lead

Competenze

• Degree qualified in Engineering or related technical discipline; equivalent experience accepted.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering development programmes in aerospace or regulated industries.
• Strong track record delivering programmes against cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Experience managing customer relationships and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams with partners and suppliers.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (APM, PMI) and stage-gate/PLM processes.

Mansioni

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of engineering development programmes meeting objectives.
• Drive governance, risk management and decision-making with senior leadership and steering committees.
• Own project schedules, budgets and milestones from award to entry into service.
• Interface with customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders for alignment.
• Coordinate Integrated Programme Teams across UK, France and US sites.
• Manage risks, changes and configuration control with cost, schedule and technical impact analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, governance reviews and status reporting.
• Champion continuous improvement and Safran development processes and tools.
