eXcent UK Ltd. is seeking a dynamic Technical Project Manager with engineering experience to bridge client needs and internal capabilities. You will interpret client requirements, develop detailed technical specifications, and generate accurate and comprehensive quotations for aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in engineering is essential and full training will be provided.
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multi-task while staying detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients to understand technical and commercial needs.
• Decipher and interpret customer requirements, drawings, and specifications (RFQs, RFPs).
• Identify key deliverables, compliance standards (e.g., AS9100), and timelines.
• Translate client requirements into clear internal technical specifications.
• Collaborate with design and supply chain teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with capabilities.
• Ensure specifications meet tooling standards, including tolerances, materials, and usage conditions.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and formal, comprehensive quotations, factoring in material, labour, and subcontracting.
• Develop and manage proposals, ensuring they are commercially viable and technically sound.
• Follow up with clients on proposals and adjust scope or pricing as required.
• Act as the central liaison between sales, engineering, supply chain, and procurement teams.
