Job summary

ALTEN Ltd - UK in Derby is seeking a Senior Technical Approver - Engineering for Services (EfS) to provide independent technical oversight and governance for complex aerospace programmes. You will review deliverables, verify calculations, and support right-first-time delivery in a highly regulated environment.

The role requires senior engineering leadership, willingness to obtain SC clearance, and strong V&V, documentation, and governance skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or regulated engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of V&V principles.
• Experience reviewing and approving engineering documents.
• Knowledge of configuration control and quality processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve technical deliverables before release.
• Verify data, calculations and engineering methodologies.
• Ensure verification and validation (V&V) activities are completed per processes.
• Confirm acceptance criteria and evidence requirements have been satisfied.
• Identify and advance technical risks, quality concerns and delivery issues.
• Support technical reviews, audits and engineering governance activities.
