Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems UK is recruiting a Supply Chain Business Partner to act as the key procurement interface for a designated Value Stream. You will partner with operational and leadership stakeholders to translate priorities into procurement actions and supplier management.

You'll build strong relationships across the Value Stream and Procurement, ensuring issues, risks and timelines are clearly understood and addressed before escalation, while aligning procurement activity with business

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally aerospace or manufacturing.
• Strong procurement processes, commercial principles and supplier management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across organisation.
• Strong organisational skills with multi-priority management.
• Ability to challenge constructively and escalate when needed.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capability.
• Collaborative approach across Procurement, Supply Chain and operations.
• Understanding of governance, compliance and risk in procurement.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Procurement contact and trusted partner for the designated Value Stream.
• Understand operational priorities, risks and challenges.
• Provide clear, concise procurement updates affecting the Value Stream.
• Coordinate issues with Procurement teams with clear ownership, actions and timescales.
• Monitor progress and drive timely resolution.
• Identify and escalate issues through the escalation process.
• Translate complex procurement and supply-chain issues into clear business impacts for stakeholders.
• Ensure Procurement teams understand Value Stream priorities.
