Job summary

Independent Forgings and Alloys in Sheffield is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier performance and compliance across a demanding aerospace supply chain.

You will audit suppliers, lead root cause investigations and corrective actions, and collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure quality plans, process controls and approvals meet ISO 9001/AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace supplier quality assurance and audits.
• Ability to drive corrective/preventive actions and use structured problem solving (8D).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality performance across aerospace supply chain.
• Conduct supplier audits and qualification activities per customer/regulatory requirements.
• Support supplier approvals and development programs.
