Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Supplier Quality professional to ensure supplier capability, compliance and performance across our global supply chain. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support supplier development, materials compliance, industrialisation activities and continuous improvement initiatives to drive quality, delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

HNC or degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality.
Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.
Experience conducting supplier audits and evaluating capability.

Responsibilities

Assess, approve, and develop supplier capabilities and performance.
Conduct supplier product, process, and system audits to ensure compliance.
Support new product introduction and transfer of parts across the supply base.
Drive supplier improvement initiatives using APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, and Lean methods.
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to support industrialisation.
Maintain supplier quality data and traceability.
Travel UK and internationally for audits and supplier development.
