Unknown Engineering Company is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage and improve supplier quality performance across the supply chain. The role involves audits, capability reviews, supplier qualification, and leading corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have proven supplier quality experience, strong understanding of aerospace standards, and hands-on experience with 8D, FMEA, APQP and continuous improvement. Collaboration with Procurement and Engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supplier quality focused role.
• Understanding of aerospace standards and processes.
• Experience with 8D, root cause analysis, FMEA, APQP and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing corrective actions.
• Structured, proactive and results-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop supplier quality performance in line with company requirements and objectives.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments and capability reviews.
• Support the qualification and approval of new suppliers.
• Lead supplier quality improvement and corrective action activities.
• Investigate supplier-related non-conformances and drive root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
• Review supplier processes and ensure appropriate control plans and inspection standards are in place.
• Support PPAP activities in accordance to AS9145.
• Work collaboratively with Procurement and Engineering.
• Ensure suppliers comply with relevant quality standards, specifications and customer requirements.
