Job summary

Airbus invites applications for an apprenticeship in the Structures Test Team at AIRTeC, Filton, Bristol. You will split Year 1 between Weston College and two days per week on-site at Airbus Filton, then spend Years 2 and 3 on-site.

In Year 4, you’ll be based full-time at your place of work, with travel to other Airbus sites to gain international experience. You will build hands-on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation skills, supported by structured training and academic study,

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs including Maths and English (and 3 other GCSEs).
• Attach CV with predicted/achieved grades and a cover letter stating motivation.
• Be eligible to work in the UK and willing to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through general test operations, gaining exposure across testing activities.
• Gain metrology/calibration experience in Years 2-3 with calibration engineers.
• Learn machining, assembly, instrumentation, and data acquisition across multiple roles.
