Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator/Fitter to contribute to bespoke helicopter solutions through prototype development, retrofit, and series production. You will work with sheet metal to aviation standards, assemble components, and inspect subcontractor parts against drawings within a workshop or hangar.

You will collaborate with the design team on prototype work and perform detailed inspections to ensure airworthiness and safety in our MRO/customisation environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative to ensure safe operation of aircraft.
• Ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings and associated data
• Interest in DIY
• Good manual hand skills
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Good communication skills
• Reliable with ability to remain calm when under pressure
• Well organised and methodical with a high attention to detail
• Adhere to H&S and wear PPE for each task
• Ability to use Google and MS products
