Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to disassemble, test, fault-find and repair safety equipment for slides, rafts, and sub-components in a UK workshop environment.

The role involves reassembling equipment in accordance with official manuals and strict safety standards, in a small team with emphasis on accuracy and compliance. You will work in a multi-site aerospace maintenance operation, with a focus on quality workmanship, timely fault resolution and adherence to health and safety

Qualifications

• Numerate and literate – GCSE Maths and English.
• OEM training in maintenance and overhaul of safety equipment (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, test, fault find and repair safety equipment for slides, rafts and sub‑components.
• Reassemble equipment in accordance with CMM/OHM's and OEM packing instructions.
